I’ll present myself to any native doctor who can make one rich – Soludo

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has warned the people of the state not to fall for fake native doctors who claim they can make people rich without work.

He said that if any native doctor can truly make someone wealthy, he is ready to present himself and prove it, adding that he would bring the person to the people of Anambra so everyone can benefit.

Soludo made this statement while addressing members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who switched to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to support his re-election.

His words come amid a crackdown on criminal native doctors in Anambra, many of whom have been arrested for claiming they can make people rich or provide charms for criminal activities like kidnapping.

Soludo mentioned that about 40 native doctors had been detained by state government agents. He explained that while some people have criticized the arrests, he is not targeting traditional religion practitioners, but rather those who deceive people for personal gain.

He pointed out that some native doctors have been misleading young people, telling them that carrying drugs across borders would be safe if they used special charms.

He also shared a story about one of the arrested native doctors, whose own son works as a waiter in a hotel, questioning why a man who claims to have wealth-making powers hasn’t helped his own family.

Soludo criticized these frauds for encouraging young people to seek quick riches without effort, leading many to waste their time in bars instead of working hard.

He emphasized that traditional practices should be respected, but those who engage in deceptive and dangerous activities will not be allowed to continue.

In closing, Soludo made it clear that he is against the harmful practices of fraudulent native doctors and will continue to fight against them for the good of Anambra State.
