Curry was on fire, making 16 of 31 shots, including an impressive 12 of 20 from three-point range. He also contributed 10 rebounds, eight assists, and five steals, showcasing his all-around skills. This was his second 50-point game of the season, and it moved him to 25th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
During the third quarter, Curry made two free throws, surpassing Jerry West’s career total of 25,192 points. By the end of the game, Curry had reached 25,205 career points.
Jimmy Butler supported the Warriors with 27 points, while Draymond Green recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. The Warriors were perfect from the free-throw line, making all 28 of their attempts.
On the Grizzlies’ side, Ja Morant led with 36 points and six assists. Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 22 points, while Desmond Bane added 19. Santi Aldama finished with 18 points, and rookie Zach Edey grabbed 16 rebounds along with 10 points and four blocks.
This victory moves the Warriors (44-31) ahead of the Grizzlies (44-32) into fifth place in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Memphis has now lost seven of their last eight games, including home losses to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Boston Celtics, and the Warriors.
