Elon Musk’s Tesla vehicle becomes best-selling vehicle in China, Norway

Tesla’s Model Y has become the best-selling vehicle in China and Norway in March 2025. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, confirmed this in a post on X.

According to sales data, Tesla sold 43,370 Model Y cars in China, making it the top-selling battery electric vehicle in the country. In Norway, Tesla sold 1,819 Model Y cars in March, further proving its popularity. Additionally, reports show that 2,792 Model X units were sold in the first quarter of 2025.

Elon Musk previously stated that Tesla has produced the best-selling car worldwide for two years in a row.

Meanwhile, Tesla has been facing challenges in the United States, with increasing attacks on its cars, dealerships, and charging stations. The FBI has created a special team to investigate and reduce these incidents.

In other news, President Donald Trump recently announced a 25% tariff on imported cars to support American car manufacturers. This new rule is set to start on April 2, 2025.
