Before Funds, Wizkid’s song Kese (Dance) held the record, with 4.72 million streams. However, Funds topped that with an impressive 4.82 million streams in its first week, making it the new leader in Spotify Nigeria’s streaming chart.
Music monitoring platform TheDebutHub shared the exciting news, confirming that Funds had officially surpassed Kese’s streaming record.
In a response to the achievement, Davido humbly wrote on social media, “We believe in God.” This celebration marks another milestone in the superstar’s successful music career.
