The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, recently praised former President Muhammadu Buhari for his contributions to Nigeria during his time as President. The remarks came during a two-day visit to Buhari’s home in Daura, Katsina State, where they discussed important matters about Nigeria’s progress.

The Ooni described Buhari as looking much younger, healthier, and more vibrant since leaving office. He remarked, “Buhari looks 30 years younger now. He is relaxed, full of energy, and radiates good spirits.”

The monarch also highlighted Buhari’s unique experiences as both a military and civilian leader. According to the Ooni, these experiences, along with Buhari’s strong support base in the northern region, could help the current administration address governance challenges effectively.
