Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo, the suspect arrested in connection with the disappearance of Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh, has died. Previously, it was reported that he had refused to disclose the location of the two young women.
Celine and Afiba were reported missing after traveling from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to Aba in Abia State on April 27, 2024, to meet Andrew, whom they had met on Facebook.
Nigerian activist Harrison Gwamnishu confirmed that Andrew was shot dead by vigilantes while being transported by police from Abia State to Abuja.
Harrison explained that Andrew was killed while attempting to escape in his car, and the whereabouts of Celine and Afiba remain unknown.
Further police investigations revealed that Andrew was part of an organ harvesting syndicate.
Harrison also shared a video of another victim who escaped from Andrew’s house after being held hostage for six days.
