Chinwe, a recently evicted housemate from Big Brother Naija Season 9, has recently addressed swirling rumors about her relationship with fellow housemate Zion. Speculation arose when Chinwe claimed she was “sponsoring” Zion, leading some to believe that she had “hired” him to be her boyfriend on the show.

In a detailed interview with Hero Daniels, Chinwe firmly denied these claims. She emphasized that she and Zion were already in a relationship before they both entered the Big Brother house. According to Chinwe, their connection was genuine and not a strategic move for the show.

The rumors began after Chinwe’s remarks about supporting Zion financially, which some viewers interpreted as a sign that their relationship was staged. However, Chinwe’s recent comments aim to dispel these misconceptions and confirm the authenticity of their bond.

She said,

“Those pushing the narrative that she hired Zion were not being fair”

“I feel like I’ve been judged unfairly.

“Some people said I hired ‘sponsored’ Zion without even knowing the history of our relationship,”

Chinwe said they were in a five-month relationship before coming to the show.

“Zion should not have talked about our intimate moments,” Chinwe added.
