My Mother Doesn’t Want Me To Give My Father Money – Peller

Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has revealed that his mother has cautioned him against providing financial support to his father, amid ongoing reactions to fellow content creator GehGeh’s family dispute.

The disclosure came during a livestream in which Peller weighed in on the controversy surrounding GehGeh, whose younger sister recently accused him on social media of neglecting his siblings despite his wealth.

In response, GehGeh maintained that although he is the first in his family to attain financial success, his resources are insufficient to lift the entire family out of poverty.

He added that he must limit his support to avoid personal financial strain, urging his siblings to seek employment.

Commenting on the situation, Peller expressed concern that a similar public fallout could occur within his own family. He alleged that his father had previously threatened to publicly call him out, despite the financial assistance he has provided over time, including gifting him a car.

Peller further disclosed that his mother has repeatedly advised him to stop giving money to his father. However, he said he continues to offer support out of a sense of obligation, noting that his father funded his education.

He also described ongoing financial demands from his father, claiming that requests for money persisted even after significant gestures of support. In contrast, he highlighted his contributions to his mother, stating that he has established multiple businesses for her.

The development comes against the backdrop of Peller’s earlier remarks about his upbringing.

In a past interview with Frank Edoho, he recounted the impact of his parents’ separation on his formative years, attributing some of his academic challenges to their divorce.
