Manchester United have confirmed that young defender Jaydan Kamason has signed a new long-term contract with the club. The fresh deal will keep the promising full-back at Old Trafford until 2028, with an option to extend for an extra year.
Kamason, who is just 19 years old, continues his steady rise through the club’s ranks. He made history in 2023 as the first player from United’s Emerging Talent Programme (ETP) to secure a professional contract.
The defender began his journey with the club at the age of 10 after joining from grassroots side Stockport Vikings. Since then, he has developed through the academy system into one of the club’s exciting young prospects.
So far, Kamason has featured 15 times for Manchester United’s Under-21 team. His appearances have come across competitions like Premier League 2, the Premier League International Cup, and the National League Cup.
The club praised his progress and commitment, expressing confidence in his future development. United also wished the youngster success as he continues to grow within their system.
