Kano lawmaker Ado resigns from NNPP

A member of the House of Representatives, Abdulhakeem Kamilu Ado, has officially resigned from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

The lawmaker, who represents Wudil/Garko Federal Constituency in Kano State, confirmed that his resignation takes immediate effect.

In his letter, Ado explained that he plans to join another political party that aligns better with his vision.

He stated that the move is aimed at finding a platform capable of addressing Nigeria’s current challenges more effectively.

Despite his exit, the lawmaker appreciated the NNPP leadership and his supporters for their support during his time in office.

His resignation was formally acknowledged by his ward chairman, marking the end of his membership in the party.
