The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Kazeem Alogba, has approved a one-week court vacation to mark the Easter season.
The break will begin on April 3 and end on April 10, 2026, with normal court activities resuming on April 13.
The announcement was made through a notice issued by the Chief Registrar, Tajudeen Elias, on behalf of the judiciary.
According to the statement, the decision follows existing legal provisions guiding court operations in Lagos State.
Despite the holiday, arrangements have been made to ensure urgent legal matters are still handled promptly.
Judges assigned for vacation duty will attend to pressing cases, ensuring that justice delivery continues during the period.
