Iran rejects Trump’s 15-point cease-fire plan, puts forth its own demands to end the war

The government of Iran has rejected a 15-point ceasefire proposal reportedly backed by Donald Trump, describing the plan as unfair and one-sided.

According to reports, Iranian officials said the proposal failed to address their core concerns and instead placed heavy demands on Tehran without offering balanced concessions.

In response, Iran has presented its own set of conditions aimed at ending the ongoing conflict. These reportedly include halting military attacks, recognition of its strategic interests, and guarantees against future aggression.

Despite rejecting the plan, Iran signaled that it is not entirely closing the door on diplomacy, noting that further discussions could still take place under fair conditions.

The situation remains tense, with continued exchanges between Iran and its adversaries raising fears of further escalation across the Middle East. Analysts warn the conflict could spread if no agreement is reached.

As global leaders call for calm, the standoff highlights the challenges of reaching a peaceful resolution, with both sides holding firm to their demands amid rising geopolitical pressure.
