The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Delta State has confirmed Professor Pat Utomi as the officially recognized leader of the state coalition.
The clarification, issued on March 25, 2026, by Engr. Austin Okolie, ADC Delta State chairman, addresses public and party concerns over leadership.
Utomi, former ADC presidential candidate in 2007, holds the position of coalition leader in Delta State, the statement emphasized.
While acknowledging Chief Great Ogboru’s influence in Delta politics, ADC clarified that he does not lead the state coalition.
The party highlighted Utomi’s credentials, including his advisory role to late President Shehu Shagari in 1983 and other executive positions in the federal government.
ADC urged members, stakeholders, and the public to recognize Utomi’s leadership in all official matters, noting the state office is at No. 1 Midwifery Market Road, Asaba.
