National Convention: APC Reserving Forms For Those Already In Power – Jijiwa

A youth leader within the All Progressives Congress, Umar Jijiwa, has accused party officials of limiting access to nomination forms ahead of the national convention. He claimed the process is not fair to all aspirants.

Speaking during an interview on Prime Time, Jijiwa alleged that forms meant for interested candidates were being reserved for those already holding positions within the party.

According to him, some aspirants who paid for the forms were not given access. He insisted that the forms were deliberately withheld to favour a specific group of insiders.

Jijiwa argued that the issue is not about endorsing particular candidates, but about current office holders allegedly positioning themselves to remain in power without competition.

He further claimed that only a limited number of forms were made available and were quickly handed to individuals already in leadership positions within the party structure.

The allegation has sparked fresh debate about transparency and fairness within the party, especially as preparations for the convention continue.
