Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s last monarch Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, has said he is ready to lead the country if the current government collapses following the death of Ali Khamenei. Pahlavi stated that many Iranians have asked him to guide the nation during a possible political transition.
The prince has lived in exile since the Iranian Revolution, which removed the monarchy and established the Islamic Republic. Over the years, he has been a strong critic of the current government and has repeatedly called for political reforms.
In a recent video message, Pahlavi accused the current leadership of causing instability in the region. He said his main goal would be to restore stability and allow the Iranian people to decide their future through democratic elections.
He also called on Western and Arab nations to support a transitional government if political change occurs in Iran. According to him, stronger international cooperation could help rebuild the country and improve relations with the global community.
