Ayatollah’s Son, Mojtaba Khamenei Owns £100m Property In London – Daily Mail

Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reportedly owns 11 luxury properties on The Bishops Avenue in north London, known as “Billionaires’ Row,” valued at over £100 million. The properties were bought through shell companies, including one registered in the Isle of Man.

Documents seen by Bloomberg link the properties to Khamenei via banker Ali Ansari, an Iranian oligarch sanctioned by the UK Treasury for financing the IRGC, accused of killing protesters in nationwide demonstrations. The properties were initially purchased in 2013 for £73 million.

The revelations come amid multiple deadly explosions across Iran, including in Bandar Abbas and Ahvaz, killing at least five people. Authorities have blamed gas leaks, while satellite images show activity at nuclear sites previously struck by the US.

Bandar Abbas, Iran’s key container port on the Strait of Hormuz, is strategically vital, handling a fifth of global seaborne oil. The news highlights ongoing tensions between Iran and the US following President Trump’s threats of airstrikes over the deaths of protesters.
