Iran has held a mass burial for 165 primary school girls and staff who were killed in what authorities described as a joint U.S.–Israeli airstrike on February 28. The attack reportedly struck a girls’ school in the southern city of Minab during the early phase of military operations.

Iranian officials said cruise missiles hit the school, causing heavy casualties among students and teachers. The tragic incident has sparked outrage across the country, with grieving families and community members attending the large funeral ceremony.
