Police have arrested several suspects linked to the disruption of a ward congress of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State. Authorities said the arrests followed an investigation into the incident, which caused panic among party members and halted the exercise.

According to the Nigeria Police Force, the suspects were picked up after credible intelligence identified those allegedly responsible for the disturbance. Officers stated that security teams acted quickly to prevent further violence and restore calm.
