Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has issued a strong warning to politicians and individuals he believes are supporting acts of betrayal, saying such actions will eventually return to haunt them. He made the remarks during a public event where he addressed political loyalty and personal responsibility.
Wike stressed that betrayal is not without consequences, insisting that anyone who encourages or benefits from disloyalty should expect to face similar treatment in the future. According to him, political position or influence will not protect anyone from the outcome of their actions.
The former Rivers State governor noted that betrayal weakens trust, unity, and long-term stability, especially in politics. He warned that those who turn against allies today may find themselves isolated when they need support the most.
Wike urged political actors to reflect on their choices and remain committed to honesty and loyalty. He concluded by reminding them that actions, whether good or bad, always produce results, insisting that “whatever you sow is exactly what you will reap.”
