Nasarawa United assistant coach, Stephen Moga, has said the team will continue to push hard for a continental place at the end of the NPFL season. He noted that the club’s recent strong performances have boosted confidence within the squad.
The Solid Miners are currently enjoying a four-match unbeaten streak in the league. With 40 points from 24 matches, Nasarawa United sit in second place on the table, just one point behind leaders Rivers United, keeping them firmly in the title and continental race.
Moga praised the commitment and fighting spirit shown by the players, stressing that the recent results did not come easily. He explained that the unbeaten run has strengthened the team’s belief and determination to compete seriously for both the league title and a spot in continental competitions.
Nasarawa United will aim to extend their good form when they face Bayelsa United in Lafia this weekend. The coaching crew expects a tough contest but remains confident that the team can continue its positive run.
