NPFL: Kwara United bolster squad with six new signings

Kwara United have moved quickly to improve their squad after a difficult run in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), signing six new players ahead of the next round of matches. The Harmony Boys are hoping the additions will boost performance and help them climb out of danger.

The new signings are Abdulsalam Abdulsalam, Hannafi Akaje Babatunde, Gabriel Abutu Jeremiah, Samsudeen Mohammed, Salisu Mustapha, and Okoloko Johnathan. All six players have already joined training sessions with their new teammates as preparations continue for upcoming fixtures.

Speaking on the development, Kwara United’s Technical Adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, expressed confidence that the new recruits will add quality and energy to the team. He said the signings were carefully made to strengthen key areas and improve overall team balance.

Kwara United are yet to record a win since the start of the second stanza of the league. A four-match winless run has pushed the club into the relegation zone, making the arrival of new players a timely move as the team fights to turn its season around.
