Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday hosted a delegation of stakeholders from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State, describing the meeting as timely and productive. The visit, according to Atiku, provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on the current political situation and the future of Nigeria.
In a message shared on his official X handle, Atiku expressed appreciation to the ADC leaders for the visit, noting that he was impressed by the depth and quality of the discussions. He said the engagement reflected a growing desire among political actors to find lasting solutions to the challenges facing Nigerians.
Atiku revealed that the talks centered on strengthening the ADC as a credible political platform ahead of future elections. He added that the party is being positioned not only to challenge and defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), but also to offer Nigerians responsible and people-focused leadership.
Reaffirming his commitment to national development, the former vice president said the ultimate goal of such engagements is to rescue Nigerians from hardship through good governance. He stressed that collaboration, unity and clear policy direction are key to delivering meaningful change and restoring hope to the country.
