The University of Cross River State (UniCross) has denied allegations of tampering with students’ academic results. The institution explained that reported discrepancies were due to errors during the transfer of data between departments and the central records system.
A spokesperson for the university stated that the issue arose while migrating results into the university portal, leading to inconsistencies that were being promptly addressed. UniCross emphasized that there was no manipulation of students’ scores and that the discrepancies were purely technical.
The university reassured students and parents that corrective measures are underway to ensure all results accurately reflect academic performance. Officials also urged the public to avoid circulating unverified claims that could create confusion among the student body.
UniCross added that they remain committed to transparency and fairness in all academic matters, assuring that the integrity of students’ results will not be compromised.
