The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested two teenage suspects following allegations that several minors were sexually assaulted in Tilden Fulani, Toro Local Government Area. The arrest came after a parent reported that his eight-year-old son had been lured and abused by one of the suspects.

Police confirmed that the 16-year-old suspect allegedly involved another 17-year-old as an accomplice. During investigation, the younger suspect admitted to the alleged crime, and initial findings suggested that multiple children, aged between seven and ten, were reportedly affected.

Authorities said the suspects confessed to the acts during questioning and would be charged to court after the investigation is concluded. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital for medical examination following the report.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, condemned the incident, stressing that anyone found guilty of such crimes would face the full weight of the law. Parents and guardians were also urged to monitor their children closely to prevent such incidents.
