Amnesty International has strongly condemned the recent killing of 41 Nigerians in a series of coordinated attacks by gunmen. The human rights organization described the incident as a severe violation of citizens’ rights and called for urgent action to protect vulnerable communities.

The attacks, which targeted multiple communities across affected states, left several others injured and caused widespread fear among residents. Amnesty urged the Nigerian government to ensure that perpetrators are swiftly identified and brought to justice to prevent further loss of life.

Amnesty also highlighted the broader issue of insecurity in Nigeria, emphasizing that citizens should not live under constant threat of violence. The organization called for a comprehensive strategy that combines security, community engagement, and accountability to address the root causes of such attacks.
