Uganda’s national football team coach, Milutin Sredojević, popularly known as Put, has warned that their upcoming match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles at AFCON 2025 will be a challenging encounter. The Ugandan coach described the Super Eagles as a strong side with experienced players capable of changing the course of the game at any moment.
Put emphasized that Uganda must be fully prepared and focused to compete against Nigeria. He revealed that the team has been analyzing Nigeria’s recent performances to identify weaknesses and plan strategies that could give them a competitive edge during the Group C clash.
The coach also noted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and tactical awareness, saying these factors will be crucial for Uganda to withstand Nigeria’s attacking threats. According to Put, every player must be ready to execute the game plan and remain resilient against one of Africa’s top teams.
He concluded by urging fans to support the Cranes in their quest to secure points at the tournament, while acknowledging that defeating Nigeria would require full commitment and effort.
