‘I’m where Wike is’ – Fayose speaks on joining APC

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has spoken about the possibility of joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating clearly, “I’m where Wike is.” Fayose’s comment came amid speculations over political realignments in the country ahead of upcoming elections.

He suggested that his political decisions are closely aligned with those of Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, highlighting loyalty and shared strategy as his guiding principle. Fayose emphasized that his choices are motivated by collective political interest rather than personal gain.

The remark has attracted attention among political observers, as it hints at possible collaborations or alliances between key figures in the PDP and individuals exploring a move to the APC. It also sparks discussion on the influence of Wike’s faction in shaping political decisions.

Fayose concluded that while party affiliations may evolve, his support for political figures like Wike will remain consistent, and he will continue to act in line with those he trusts within the political landscape.
