Steer clear of cultism, vices – UNIOSUN VC to matriculating students

The Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has urged newly matriculating students to steer clear of cultism and harmful vices. Speaking at the matriculation ceremony, the VC emphasized the importance of discipline and ethical conduct.

He warned that involvement in cultism, drug abuse, and other social vices could ruin students’ academic and personal lives. The Vice-Chancellor encouraged students to focus on their studies and personal development.

UNIOSUN authorities also highlighted the university’s commitment to providing a safe and conducive learning environment. Students were advised to report any suspicious activities to the school’s management.

Parents and guardians were commended for supporting the students and reminded to guide them in making responsible choices throughout their academic journey.
