A fire outbreak has destroyed an office building in Awka, the capital city of Anambra State. The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of the day, leaving workers and residents in shock as flames spread quickly through the facility. Emergency responders were called to the scene to contain the situation and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.

Although the full cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, eyewitnesses suspect it might have been triggered by an electrical fault. The destruction has led to significant losses, with documents, office equipment, and property worth millions of naira reportedly damaged in the inferno. Fortunately, no casualties have been recorded as at the time of filing this report.
