The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, has assured Nigerians that the agency is determined to dismantle the stronghold of corruption in the country. He stressed that corruption has been a major obstacle to national growth and development, and the EFCC is fully committed to tackling it head-on.

Olukoyede noted that the EFCC is adopting fresh strategies to ensure that both high-profile individuals and institutions found guilty of corrupt practices are brought to justice. He maintained that Nigeria cannot progress if corruption continues to thrive, and the EFCC will remain relentless in restoring accountability and transparency.

He also called on Nigerians to support the anti-graft war, pointing out that the success of the EFCC’s mission depends on the cooperation of citizens, government institutions, and the judiciary. According to him, the fight against corruption is a collective effort that will secure a brighter future for the nation.
