The Edo State Government has intensified its crackdown on cultism with the demolition of houses belonging to individuals linked to cult activities. Officials said the exercise is part of the state’s zero-tolerance policy against cultism, which continues through intelligence-led security operations.
Authorities also urged residents to report any suspicious activity to security agencies to help restore peace and safety in communities.
According to government sources, more properties tied to cultists may soon be pulled down as part of efforts to send a clear message that there is no safe haven for cultists in Edo State.
