United States President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Hamas, telling the group not to use Israeli hostages as human shields in Gaza to stop Israel’s military operations.

Trump made this statement in a post on his Truth Social account on Monday.

The American president said he came across a news report claiming Hamas might use captives as human shields while Israel continues heavy airstrikes in Gaza.

He described the act as a “human atrocity” and insisted that all hostages must be released without delay.

In his post, Trump wrote that he read a report saying Hamas had moved the hostages above ground to block Israel’s ground assault.

He added that Hamas leaders should be careful about such actions, warning that it would bring serious consequences.

Trump called the situation a terrible crime against humanity and stressed that if Hamas carries it out, “all bets are off.” He demanded the immediate release of every hostage.

This warning came at the same time Israeli forces increased their air attacks in Gaza City.
