The FBI has announced a reward of up to $100,000 for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the person who shot and killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Kirk, 31, was gunned down on Wednesday during an event at Utah Valley University. Following the tragic incident, federal authorities confirmed the reward to encourage the public to assist in finding the suspect.
Photos of a possible person of interest have also been released. According to investigators, the individual looked young enough to blend in easily at a college campus.
In the images, the suspect is seen wearing a hat, sunglasses, and an American flag T-shirt with an eagle on it.
The FBI shared the reward notice on X, urging the public to come forward with any information that could help identify and arrest the person responsible for Kirk’s murder.
Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason stated during a Thursday morning press briefing that authorities already have clear video footage of the suspect.
He added that if the person cannot be identified quickly, they will rely on the media and the public to spread the photos and aid the investigation.
