“You’re playing for us, not them” – OAP Do2dtun calls out Super Eagles after World Cup miss

Media personality Do2dtun has shared his disappointment over Nigeria missing out on World Cup qualification, expressing his feelings in a series of posts on X.

He remembered how football used to bring Nigerians together, recalling the excitement and celebrations of Atlanta ’96. Today, he feels the Super Eagles no longer show the same determination and fighting spirit.

Do2dtun emphasized that Nigerian fans are loyal supporters, cheering for the players even at their club games.

While he acknowledged that the football system and authorities are flawed, he insisted that the team should still give their all for the fans.

He wrote, “The system is messy, that’s true. But this team lost the drive to fight for us. We are the ones who truly lose, not them. Always remember, you are playing for us, not them.”

He also mentioned that the female national team faced similar obstacles but still managed to succeed. He encouraged the Super Eagles to rise above challenges instead of letting frustrations with the NFF affect their performance.
