Prince Harry has finally reunited with his father, King Charles III, in London. This marks their first meeting since February 2024.
The Duke of Sussex, who arrived in the UK on Monday for different events, was seen on Wednesday entering Clarence House in a black car. He came just about an hour after King Charles returned from Scotland.
According to BBC, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the King and his son had a private tea together at the royal residence. Their meeting lasted for about 50 minutes.
This reunion is significant because their relationship has been strained for years. Prince Harry stepped away from royal duties in 2020 and moved to California with his wife, Meghan Markle. He last visited his father in early 2024 after learning of the King’s cancer diagnosis.
Since then, Harry revealed that he and his father were no longer speaking. He linked this to his ongoing legal battles in the UK and the accusations he made against the royal family in interviews and his memoir.
Still, Harry has shared that he hopes for peace with his father, especially since he does not know how much time they may have left together.
On Monday, before the reunion, Harry paid his respects at the grave of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Although he had returned to the UK a few times in the past year, he had not been able to meet his father — even when they were staying very close to each other.

Rumors of a possible meeting started in July when King Charles’s press secretary was seen in London with Prince Harry’s communication team. Now, after months of speculation, the long-awaited reunion between father and son has finally happened.
