Popular Nigerian singer Skales appears to have moved on from his marriage and is now in a new relationship.

On August 23, the singer shared a post on Instagram introducing a new woman in his life, model Shauney Monae.

Skales referred to Shauney as his “favourite song and guiding light” and praised her for the way she shows love.

In the post, he shared a photo of them together on her birthday and expressed his affection for her.

He wrote: “The way you love, the way you care, the way you teach me how to live. So here’s to you, the one I adore, my heart, my muse, my greatest friend.”

This comes two years after Skales publicly described his wife, Precious Raoul, as a “devil” following her social media tribute to his late mother.

Skales and Precious got married in September 2021. A year later, in September 2022, he celebrated their anniversary, describing the marriage as a blessing.

At that time, he wrote: “Ever since this day last year, my joy has known no bounds… This marriage has been a blessing to me. Happy anniversary to the love of my life.”

He also shared videos from their wedding day, highlighting it as one of the most memorable moments of his life.

However, in November 2022, just one year into their marriage and while Precious was heavily pregnant, Skales publicly criticized her.

He released a diss track attacking Precious for posting about his late mother, claiming she didn’t care for his mother and calling her a “devil.”

In March 2023, when their daughter was born, he apologized to Precious and celebrated her birthday, promising to be better.

He wrote: “Happy birthday my Queen @her_sanity11, I truly love, respect and care for you & I promise to do better! Cheers to the most amazing year yet.”

Now, it seems that Skales and Precious have permanently ended their relationship.
