“Four years is too much” — Nigerian Cleric warns Osimhen against Galatasaray move

A Nigerian pastor has raised concern over football star Victor Osimhen’s possible move to Turkish club Galatasaray, warning that a long-term contract may not work in his favour.

In a video shared online, the cleric urged Osimhen to reconsider the reported four-year deal. He said staying that long with Galatasaray could reduce the player’s visibility and impact on the pitch.

He explained that Osimhen may do well for the first two years, but after that, things would begin to go wrong. The pastor claimed the club would likely stop using him regularly, which could affect his performance.

The preacher stressed that Osimhen is a gifted player who deserves better treatment and a more supportive environment to thrive. However, he warned that the deal might bring challenges instead of growth.

He ended by saying Osimhen is free to react however he chooses, but insisted that he was only delivering a message—not acting on personal opinion.
