Twin boys, just four years old, tragically di£d after being caught in a house fire in Tennessee.
The terrible incident happened early on Monday morning, July 28, with emergency services arriving shortly after 4:30am.
The fire started at a home on Arbor Pointe Way in Nashville, according to reports by local news stations WSMV-TV and WTVF.
When emergency crews got there, they found a mother and one of her children outside the burning home.
The heartbroken mother told firefighters that her other two children—twin boys—were still trapped inside on the second floor.
Firefighters rushed inside the house, trying to rescue the children while flames continued to spread.
They were able to find and bring the boys out, but sadly, both children di£d at the scene despite all life-saving efforts. Their names were Lathan and Langston McDaniel.
Lacey Corbitt, a family friend who started a GoFundMe campaign, said the twins were born prematurely and had overcome many health issues.
She described them as “the lights of our world,” saying they brought happiness and love wherever they went.
The boys are survived by their little sister, Lexi Rose.
Corbitt shared a heartbreaking message on the fundraiser page, saying the pain the family and their loved ones are going through is beyond words.

She said the fundraiser is to help the family rebuild some of what was lost, though nothing can bring back their beloved twins.
So far, over $13,000 has been raised through GoFundMe by 175 generous donors as of Thursday, July 31.
