Real Madrid take decision on giving Vinicius same salary as Mbappe

Real Madrid has made it clear that they won’t be paying Vinicius Junior the same salary as Kylian Mbappe. The club is firm on this decision and is not willing to change its mind for now.

According to reports from SER Deportivos, the Spanish club wants to give Vinicius one more year to prove his value on the pitch. If he performs well, they may return to the table to discuss a better salary. If not, Real Madrid might consider selling him.

This news comes after both sides failed to reach an agreement on a new contract earlier this month. Talks between the player and the club have not moved forward since then.

Vinicius and the club were once close to a deal, but things fell apart due to disagreements over money. The player wants a higher salary than what Madrid is ready to offer.

For several months now, Vinicius has been asking for a €30 million salary package. This includes a bonus for renewing his contract. However, Real Madrid thinks that amount is too much.

The 25-year-old winger has not backed down from his demand. Because of this, contract negotiations have been stuck with no real progress.

Vinicius still has a valid contract with Real Madrid until June 2027. He joined the club in 2018 after moving from Brazilian team Flamengo.

Right now, it’s unclear if both sides will be able to reach an agreement anytime soon. Fans will be watching closely to see what happens next.
