A tragic attack happened in Katsina State when bandits stormed a small village, killing several people, including a well-known local vigilante commander.

The incident took place on Friday night in Danzangi, a village in Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area. The attack has left many residents heartbroken and afraid, as insecurity in the area continues to rise.

According to a post shared on Saturday by a security expert known as Bakastine, the vigilante leader, commonly called Oga Ali, was among those shot and killed during the invasion. He had been helping protect the community from such violent attacks.

Bakastine raised the alarm that if the government does not act fast to improve security, the road between Dutsin-Ma and Katsina may become too dangerous to travel. He warned that more criminal activity could make the highway completely unsafe.

The community is now mourning their losses and calling for urgent help from the authorities to stop further attacks.
