President Bola Tinubu has mocked the African Democratic Congress (ADC), calling it a “coalition of confusion.”
He made this comment at the 14th meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee. During the meeting, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda was announced as the new national chairman of the APC.
While speaking, Tinubu asked APC leaders to delay the party’s congresses until December. According to him, this will give more time for people from opposition parties to join the ruling party.
Tinubu also said there’s nothing wrong with leaving a party that is falling apart and staying away from a group that is not organised.
His comments came shortly after the ADC gained support from major opposition figures like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s presidential candidate Peter Obi.
