Pre-season tour: Liverpool manager, Slot names 29-man squad [Full list]

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has chosen 29 players for the team’s pre-season tour in Asia. The Reds will travel to both Hong Kong and Japan to get ready for the new football season.

The squad includes new signings like Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz. Both players joined the club this summer and are already part of the team’s pre-season plans.

The team left England on Sunday evening. They will play friendly matches against AC Milan and Japanese club Yokohama F. Marinos during the tour.

Before heading to Asia, Liverpool played a private match against Stoke City on Sunday. The Reds won the game 5-0 at the AXA Training Centre, showing strong form ahead of the tour.

Liverpool had a successful 2024/2025 season, winning the Premier League title. They finished ahead of top clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City.
