In a heartbreaking incident, 27-year-old travel and lifestyle influencer Aanvi Kamdar passed away after falling into a 300-foot gorge while filming a video in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, India.

Aanvi Kamdar, a chartered accountant from Mumbai, was on a monsoon outing with seven friends when she slipped and fell into the deep gorge near the Kumbhe waterfall at Mangaon in Raigad on Tuesday, July 17, 2024, as reported by a police official.

Residing in Mumbai’s Mulund area, Kamdar had visited the waterfall with her friends during the rainy season. While recording a video of the beautiful surroundings, she lost her footing and fell into the gorge.

Her friends immediately alerted the police and local rescuers, who quickly arrived at the scene. Kamdar was rushed to the Mangaon Taluka Government Hospital, but tragically, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
