Napoli has made new demands as they look to sell Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
Osimhen is interested in returning to Galatasaray permanently. He played on loan for the Turkish champions last season and wants to stay.
However, Galatasaray has already made several offers, but Napoli has turned them all down.
According to well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Napoli rejected Galatasaray’s latest offer on Monday.
Napoli now wants €40 million to be paid immediately, another €35 million by 2026, and they also want a sell-on clause included. This means if Galatasaray sells Osimhen in the future, Napoli would get a share of that sale.
Romano said on X (formerly Twitter) that Galatasaray is not happy with these new demands. But both clubs might keep talking if Napoli changes its mind again.
Right now, Galatasaray is offering to pay €35 million by 2027 and doesn’t want to add the sell-on clause. That’s the main reason the deal hasn’t gone through yet.
It’s clear the deal is not done, but talks could continue if both sides make compromises.
