The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it will not conduct the aptitude test for candidates applying for Direct Entry in 2024.
This means that the test, which was previously required for admission, will no longer be part of the application process for this year.
Instead of the aptitude test, the Board stated that other criteria will be used to determine admissions for Direct Entry candidates.
These new criteria have not been specified yet, but they will replace the traditional test method that was used in previous years.
JAMB made this announcement on Monday through a post on its official X handle, formerly known as Twitter.
This update is significant for all prospective Direct Entry candidates who were preparing for the aptitude test, as they will now need to focus on the new criteria that JAMB will implement.
