Tammy Abraham agrees €20m move to Besiktas

Tammy Abraham is set to join Turkish football club Besiktas in a €20 million deal. This was shared by well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed that Besiktas and AS Roma have reached an agreement.

Roma decided to sell Abraham because the club needs to raise €13 million before the end of June to meet Financial Fair Play rules. To solve this, they agreed to sell the striker, who has now also reached a personal agreement with Besiktas.

Abraham, who has Nigerian parents, played last season on loan at AC Milan. He moved there after losing his place in Roma’s starting team.

While playing for Milan, the 27-year-old striker scored 10 goals and assisted 7 more in 45 matches across different competitions. However, because AC Milan had a tough season overall, they chose not to sign him permanently.

Roma had originally signed Abraham from Chelsea in 2021, paying €41 million at the time. Now, a few years later, he is preparing to start a new chapter of his football career in Turkey with Besiktas.
