Actress Sonia Ogiri shares screenshot of DM she sent Simon Guobadia, says she had a warning message from God

Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri recently revealed that she sent a private message to businessman Simon Guobadia before his controversial marriage. According to her, the message was based on a spiritual warning she believed came from God.

She shared a screenshot of the message she sent on April 1, 2024. Sonia explained that she had tried reaching out to Simon earlier through another verified account that no longer exists. In the message, she told him that she had a dream before his wedding and felt it was important to deliver what she believed was a message from God.

In her direct message, she wrote, “I’m just a normal lady that hears GOD sometimes. If you will listen to me. Have a great day.”

Sonia posted the screenshot on Instagram, explaining that she had also sent a similar message to the wife of Obi Cubana. She insisted that her actions were not for fame or attention but to remind people to take spiritual signs seriously and not ignore messages from God.

Her caption read:

GOD chooses who He wants to use.
I feel so sad for this man Simon, not because I know the whole truth but because I had a message for him and Obi Cubana’s wife.
I personally sent both of them messages with my verified account and told two of my friends about it. This was long before his marriage, which GOD was clearly warning him.

We joke about everything, even when we should give a listening ear. I don’t care about getting messages for anybody because I’m concerned about myself, but when He chooses to send me, I tell the people regardless.

May GOD help us all.

Me posting this isn’t for him to respond anymore ’cause the deed has been done, I just want other people to learn from this. Obi’s wife’s message is still in her inbox, if she likes, she can take it serious. If she likes, she shouldn’t.”

Her post received mixed reactions online. Some people questioned the purpose of her message. One user commented that her warning seemed vague and looked like an attempt to gain attention.

Sonia quickly replied:

“Read to understand. Toast who? You must think same of everybody. You didn’t send me to him so you can’t tell me how to deliver the message, son.”

Despite the criticism, Sonia stood her ground. She said her post was not to restart any talks with Simon but to show the importance of listening to spiritual guidance and obeying God’s direction.
