Toyin Abraham, a popular Nollywood actress, recently shared details about her past and present relationships. She explained why her first marriage to actor Adeniyi Johnson didn’t work out and how she eventually found happiness with her current husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi.

In an interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Toyin said her family didn’t support her first marriage. They prayed about it and got signs that the union would not succeed. However, she chose to go ahead with the marriage, which ended after about two years.

Toyin admitted that she ignored her family’s warnings at the time. She said, “My family actually prayed and got signs that it wouldn’t work. But I didn’t listen. I went ahead.”

She spoke positively about her current marriage with Kolawole Ajeyemi. She described him as a calm and prayerful man and said their relationship is built on love, respect, and spiritual connection.

Their love story began slowly as they worked together on movie sets. They spent more time together and began to support each other through different life situations. Toyin didn’t want people to know about the relationship at first, but she became fond of Kolawole and started following him to work.

Eventually, they introduced each other to their families. Toyin got pregnant, and soon after, they got married. She said she’s grateful for the peace and happiness she now enjoys in her marriage.

Toyin added that she comes from a Christian background, and her family prayed before she got married to Kolawole. They believed he was the right one for her. “Trust me, I married one of the best,” she said. “I won’t say the best because there are other marriages I admire, but my husband is definitely one of the best.”
