U.S. President Donald Trump has described Iran’s recent missile attack on a U.S. base in Qatar as weak and not dangerous. He urged both Iran and Israel to choose peace instead of more fighting.
Trump reacted to the attack on his platform, Truth Social. He said Iran launched 14 missiles, but 13 were stopped by defense systems. Only one missile landed, and Trump claimed it went in a direction that wasn’t dangerous.
He said no American soldiers were hurt, and the base had very little damage. According to Trump, Iran just needed to let out its anger, and he hoped the situation would not get worse.
Trump also thanked Iran for giving early notice before launching the missiles. He said this gave time to prepare and keep everyone safe. He called on Iran to now work for peace in the region and said he would strongly encourage Israel to do the same.
In another post, Trump thanked Qatar’s leader, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for helping keep peace. He added that no one from Qatar was hurt in the attack.
Trump ended by saying it was time for the world to move toward peace. His message was loud and clear: “Congratulations world, it’s time for peace!”
