“And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her / I ain’t gon’ throw the fact bitch forgot she was Black back at her / Laugh at her, like them crackers / She’s backin’ after / Her back is turnin’, a cute MAGA hat with her ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt,” Eminem sings in the song “Lucifer,” directed at Owens. The song goes on to attack her and make comparisons to racist leaders.

When Candace Owens saw the song, claiming it’s an indication that Eminem’s standing in the music industry is declining. She thinks that Eminem’s criticism, which criticizes her backing of Donald Trump, is an attempt to gain attention, particularly from his supporters.

According to Owens, Eminem’s songs demonstrate his lack of originality and need to remain relevant. She contended that concentrating on her politics diverts attention from more pressing problems and asserted that by criticizing a conservative, he is attempting to win over Black viewers.
